5/24The rock garden is looking nice this year. Some flowers are starting to bloom. I just planted a couple more thyme and sedum to fill in empty spots. I need to add more rocks in some places where the chipmunks have been digging. You can see the Italian hive at the top right.
Fact: In one recent survey, beekeepers reported sustaining losses of even more colonies over the winter of 2007-2008 than the devastating previous year: 35.2% of their colonies died.
